First off I have another guide on warning folks to not buy the guides sold on Ebay, its a waste of money. I bought 3 different ones just to prove the point to those who may fall victim and to also just let you know what they do offer you.

The guides do nothing but simply tell you to daily call or visit your local Walmarts, Targets, ToysRUs etc...they simply tell you to visit them early hours or call them daily to ask about shipments or stock. Also some point you to www.slickdeals.net and www.fatwallet.com which is two websites easily found when you do a search for deal sites on the internet.

The elmo tracker is http://www.elmotracker.com/ and you can do a google search for TMX elmo tracker and pull up a couple more. In order to use these trackers efficently its good to have firefox, and download the autorefresher addon for it and set the tracker, and go to walmart.com and toysrus.com etc and pull up their tmx elmo page, then set the autorefresher to refresh every 5 or 10 seconds. Also watch the official TMX elmo forums at the two websites I mentioned above (SlickDeals and FatWallet)

As far as when the stores will have these in stock, FisherPrice has said, and many have also said this, that they will not have anymore Elmos until 2007, so the stock they do have is probably going to the local walmart's and targets and toysrus stores.

The Top Secret box you see is a collectors because before Elmo was released he was a big secret so thats why you see some Top Secret boxes, these will go up greatly in value. The Warning boxes are the ones that the Elmo comes in now....he will not be released in a Top Secret box, so grab the Top Secret while you can. Eventually he will just be released in a open faced box I'm told, so not sure how true that may be.

Some of the stores like Toys R Us had shipments of Elmos during the start of their Big Toy Book sale, most stores got 30-100 elmos, but unless you stood inline for hours, you would have missed out, my local TRUS said they had a line wrapped around the building when they opened. And all across America I've heard from people saying they had to stand in line for several hours, but to only get 1 or maybe possibly 2 elmos...because the stores had a limit.

Target recently had a few Elmos in stores around Nov 4th, but they were in short supply, the stores didnt get many at all, and again, lines were very long.

From what I've heard from several Walmart's, Target's and Toys R Us stores is they may or may not get more shipments in, most expect that these stores will hang on to a few to draw crowds in for Black Friday (day after ThanksGiving sale) but you will need to be early and ready to stand in line. As far as big releases, none is expected to be seen until next year.

When I receive more info of upcoming sales and releases of this Elmo I will update this guide, so check daily.
