At Nightfall Fashions, we have the opportunity to read and review countless "how to" guides that purport to reveal "sex secrets" that are "guaranteed" to improve your love life.  Like most things in life, there is no easy answer, and some of the books were downright ridiculous.  There are some real diamonds in the rough, however, and we'd like to recommend some of our favorite books to you. 
Erotic Massage

We weren't certain how to feel about Erotic Massage - the Touch of Love.  The first few pages of the book reads like bad poetry, and we were looking for practical advice rather than pretentious nonsense.  The book more than makes up for it in the pages that follow, however.  The book offers incredible information about massage of the female and male bodies - everything from the feet to the legs, the back - even the face! and of course the erogenous zones. The illustrations are incredibly instructive, and the writing is simple and straightforward (and, thankfully, no longer in prose format). The book provides information on the types of pressure to apply and the parts of your hands that provide the most effective massage for each area.  It is an excellent introduction to erotic massage, and for the $9.95 price, you won't find a better introductory guide.

Bedroom Inspiration

Being spontaneous in the bedroom is not nearly as easy as we'd like to think it is.  Sometimes you need a little inspiration in order to come up with something new and exciting, and we've found one book on that topic which we just can't recommend enough.  Naughty or Nice Sex by Amy Drew is a must-have book if you are looking for a little bit of inspiration in the bedroom.  This book goes far beyond the basic theme of using roleplaying or toys in the bedroom to add a little kick to your love life - this book sets out idea after idea for planning romantic getaways, fun erotic weekends, and much more.  The book includes different "themes," and each theme then has a "naughty" and a "nice" version filled with ideas on how to carry it out.  For example, one theme is the Hawaiian Luau - The "nice" ideas include dressing in your luau best and having a lovely Hawaiian meal together by candlelight while listening to island music. The "naughty" ideas includes a rubdown with cocoa butter and some naughty fun on a straw mat under the stars.  There are dozens of great themes like that included in this book, each one more novel than the next.  The ideas can be carried out over one night or even a full weekend.  It is highly recommended and well worth the price.

Sex Positions

No guide of this type would be complete without a manual of sex positions, and we've found our favorite in that category.  The Complete Handbook of Sexual Positions by Jessica Stewart is our choice.  The Handbook is fully illustrated and features 170 different positions.  The book does more than simply list the positions, however.  It offers in-depth descriptions and it focuses on the "why" and the "how" of each position.  It is a fun book for couples who want try try new positions, or for people who are looking to add a few new "moves" to their repertoire.
