Here are some helpful tips on selling laptops, and shipping them to internationl custimors. I have experance fraud when I sold my laptop a few years ago. I had a US eBay member contact me asking if he could purchase my laptop that was up for auction for $800. If wanted to buy it now for $1000. What do you think I did. I jumped on it. He said he wanted me to ship the item overseas to his friend as a gift visa USPS, asap. I had not problem with that. He sent the money visa PayPal. I shipped it that day, and the next day, I got a reserse in my PayPal account. This is what I found out.

The overseas person stole some US persons credit card and personal info, and opened up a eBay and PayPal account.

Things to avoid:
IF you are going to ship a package international, remember to wait a day or two before shipping the item.
If he wants you to ship it ASAP, please tell the person that you have to wait a day or two before shipping the item.
If the person is going to pay by Western Union Bill Pay, wait until you receive the check in the mail. Because if you ship it when the email comes (Westen Union sends emails out letting the shipper know that you can ship the item), the payment can be reversed, as in my case.
