Ring-Around-the-Ghosts
I love this -- Looks like the ghosts are playing in the yard !!!
MATERIALS:
6 dowels
Small white garbage bags
Old newspaper
Masking tape
Old white sheets
String
Black permanent markers
1: Find a good spot for the ghosts such as a tree or lamp post.
2: Cut your dowels to the size you want your ghosts.
3:
Find a round or make a round for the head. You can stuff newspaper in a plastice bag and stick the dowel in that or use a styrofoam ball.
4: Put a sheet over each head and tie a piece of white string around the neck.
5: Use permanent black markers or paint to draw a face on each ghost.
6: Gather ghosts around the pole . Put a space between each one and push the dowels into the ground so the sheets just touch the bottom. make the ghosts lean slightly backward, knot the corners of the sheets together as if the ghosts are holding hands.
It looks like you have friendly ghosts in your yard !!
Also
Try Pumpkin Stakes
Try carving smaller pumpkins and sitting them atop stakes in the ground. Instead of using candles, use a string of white Christmas lights, placing a single light into each pumpkin
Add a Graveyard
Allow the grass in your yard to grow somewhat long and don't rake the leaves. Make some tombstones from boxes or purchase ready-made foam/plastic tombstones and place 4 or 5 (in varying sizes) in one corner of your yard. Make a short, broken picket-fence to surround a portion of the "graveyard". Add a few cobwebs as well.
Atmosphere
You need to create the perfect atmosphere to make your haunted yard a spooky success. This can be done with special effects, such as eerie sounds, lighting and props.
