A big problem in selling International Buyer's is payment and my policy is Cash or International Money Order only! eBay is set up to take payments from all International Buyer's.
If you take a payment from International Buyer's you are setting yourself up for trouble. As you may or should know, any item paid from Paypal must have a tracking number when shipped.
The problem is, the US Post Office cannot track a package to a buyer's mail box. If you ship a package that was paid by Paypal and the item gets lost you will have to return the buyer his money. Now you are out the item and the cash!!
You can ship with a tracking number by UPS but the cost of an overseas shipment is very high and many buyers will not pay for it. I priced an $80 item and the shipping by UPS with the tracking number was $62, would you pay that much? You might find a better price from an Air Freight company but you must have the tracking number.
NOTE: I buy many items from eBay sellers, my payment is Paypal and most do not use a tracking number on the package, WRONG!!! Buyer's must as per Paypal have a tracking number on every item paid from Paypal. US Post Office Delivery Confirmation has a tracking number, it's now 50 cents for Priority Mail and 60 cents for Parcel Post.
