If you already have an ebay store, and you know you have some great deals, but are still not making any sales, it could be because you arent getting any traffic. If you only sell your items through your ebay store, then they are not showing up in the search results when another ebay member enters a keyword specific to your item. to correct this, always host at least one auction in each category that is relevant to the item you are selling, assuming you have multiple quantities of that item or a similar item. be sure to when you create your listing to include a common phrase such as: See my ebay store great buy now deals on similar items!, in your description. you'll be suprised at how many more sales are generated from this method alone. another helpful idea is to have some business cards made that includes the web address to your ebay store, and pass these around or leave them in any high traffic area, convience stores, hair salons, etc... one of the most effective methods is to search for other sellers that sell items similar to yours and at a price that is comparable to yours and use the link provided in your my ebay area and invite that seller to participate in cross-promoting each others items. what this does is to show a few of your items similar to his/hers near the bottom of his auction/store listing and provides a link to your listing. this works both ways, and helps to increase traffic for both of you. Now, to keep track of whether any of these methods have generated more traffic for you, always enable the free statistics counter option available when you create a new listing. this will show you the number of times your item was viewed. hope this helps you as much as it has me!
