Do you enjoy crafting for your own pleasure and for gifts?  You can make wonderful craft projects using doilies in new and innovative ways.

     Just use doilies, ribbons, bows, charms, and other trims to enhance the doilies.  You can craft beautiful photo albumns, wooden boxes, flower pots, and hundreds of more items into treasures.

                                                    WEDDING BOX

                                        Supplies you will need:

• Unfinished wood box
• White acrylic paint
• Craft Adhesive and glue gun
• Ribbon
• Lace
• Large rectangular doily
• Small oval doily
• Angel charms
• Wedding ring charms
• Pearl Garland bead

• A copy of the Wedding Invitation

                                         Instructions

        1.  paint box white - let dry

        2.  Use craft glue to glue doilies to lid

        3.  Glue invitation on top of doily

        4.  Hot glue pearl garland, charms, around invitation

        5.  Hot glue bow to other doily

     You will have a wonderful memento to keep or give.

     If you are into scrapbooking, you probably make beautiful pages.  Now you can make a beautiful cover too  Also photo frames.  Cover old photo frames with doilies, charms, ribbon and bows to make them stand out to display your  favorite pictures.

     How about painting an ordinary clothespin, and gathering a doily to make a lovely butterfly to decorate a door hanging  or flower pot.

     You can use doilies to make memorable picture plaques to hang on the wall.  With this project all you need is some unfinished wood plaques and acrylic paint.  First paint the plaques, then decorate
