I decided to write this guide to be helpful & to vent! It sickens me to see SO MANY fake Coach listed on eBay.  That someone could profit by intentionally deceiving someone just to make a buck! I have been a Coach lover for many years.  It's pretty much the only brand I carry.  I have tried carrying different brands, but always go back to my beloved Coach.  Everyday hundreds of people look on eBay to buy their first Coach.  They don't want to pay top dollar so they come here.  I completely understand that- I also came here for my first Coach.  Years later... here I am selling Coach on eBay.  I enjoy every second of it!! I have so much admiration and respect for them.  It's hard to explain.. it's just my thing- I LOVE THEM:) To see these "dishonest" sellers list the "fake" purses and the extremes they will go to- to "trick" and "fool" you is ridiculous!! Where do I start?? First off, just because you see a "Coach booklet" or "Coach care card" next to an item does not mean it is the real deal.  You can buy these booklets, sleeper bags, store bags, gift boxes, and Coach tissue paper here on eBay.  I just saw a "fake" purse on here yesterday that someone had stuck all the booklets in the picture and even went to the extreme of setting a Coach price tag next to it to make it look like it was new or authentic.  Please ask tons of questions and see if these items are included with the sale... they usually like to keep their "props"! Flat out ask if an item is "real" or "authentic" even if they list it as that way.  All these different colored price tags or a dead give away too.  I have been to Coach stores, outlet stores & dept stores- never have I seen any color price tag but the white one.  They don't come with the plastic bags around the handles either.   Coach is such a classy distinguished  brand that they don't like the price tags to show while they are on display for sale.  They are tucked neatly inside a pocket or compartment.  So to see the handles or any other parts covered in plastic is a "tacky give away"!! I've also seen a lot of the fake ones with the thin shiny signature C linings.  A real "coach" bag will only have high quality , top of the line materials used  to line it.  A lot of the fake wallets look great from the outside- but once you see the inside and see the poor quality and how plain it is.  Also the real Coach has "coach" on the inside snap hardware mechanism.  So if you see a listing and they aren't offering up pics of the inside... they may not want you to see it's a fake! Anyone selling a real Coach product will not mind any questions or requests for different pic views etc.  Coach only uses high quality top of the line suedes and leathers.  The fake bags will have "thin looking" leather sewn seams around pockets and edges that almost look like they are curling up.  If you have any doubt or question about a bag please do not hesitate to ask and find out "for sure" before you buy.  There are so many places to find info... the Coach website (where you can see pics etc.), a reputable seller, or just go to a high end dept store and inspect the high quality of a real bag.  If you come across a fake bag... report it to eBay.  At the bottom of every listing there is a "report this item" link that you can click on.  There will always be scum bags out there trying to take advantage but lets help make eBay a safer place to shop by turning in the dishonest folks.  Please feel free to ask me any questions... i love to talk Coach:) I am in no way affiliated with Coach, just a long time lover and admirer!

I would also like to add that the coach price tags do not come attached with a chain or a coach booklet on that chain.  Price tags also do not come on the "coach" hang tag.   I would be happy to help anyone distinguish the difference  between a real  and a fake bag.
