I Love Lucy Season 7-9 is coming to dvd on March, 13th. You may know this set as "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" but they are calling this set "I Love Lucy" Season 7-9, which is basically what it is and should have been called in the first place. The only differance in "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" is that all of the shows are one hour long instead of thirty minutes. These shows take place where "I Love Lucy Season 6 left off, where the gang moved to the country. There are only 13 epsiodes of "The Lucy-Desy Comedy Hour," which equals 13 hours of total viewing time. So it is actually like getting 26 episodes, if you think of it that way. They were suppose to have more hourly episodes, but this was edging to the end of Lucy and Desi's relationship and unfortunately was ended a few shows early. These shows have not been aired on cable as much as the other "I Love Lucy" epsiodes and it is so disappointing because there are great shows on this set.

This is definitely a must have set for any "I Love Lucy" fan and to also finish out the rest of the "I Love Lucy" Season's. Featured in this set will be the never before seen "I Love Lucy" Movie, this was suppose to air back when "The Long Long Trailer" was being made starring  Lucy and Desi, and because of this movie being released they decided not to air it and so the movie has been lost and forgotten for over fifety years and this will be included in this final season. There will also be "I Love Lucy" clips to be set in color also, as a bonus this will be included in this set as well. There are a lot of great shows in this set! One show in particular entitled "Lucy Takes A Cruise To Havana" is the flashback of how Lucy and Ricky first met on her cruise to Havana. This is such a great epsiode and an one of my all time favorites. 

You can pre order this set from many websites and the cheapest price that I have seen is Amazon for only $27.99, or you can wait until it becomes available to the stores or through Ebay on March, 13th.
