HyerScan
This is not as cool as it seems because you can only play certain cards on certain systems!
Hyperscan was going to be the next big thing in video games. It supposedly takes gaming to the next level! However, the system is too narrow in content. It is costly--the system is pricey--around $69--and the card packs aren't cheap either. It is a cool idea and if you have extra cash, like to play video games and like a different game with the same characters each time--give it a try.
It combines a video game systen with collector's cards (think Playstation 2 meets Yugi cards.) The game system allows you to Scan, Battle, and Rescan. With the different cards, your play options can be endless.
It uses rewritable game card technology to allow players to scan their collectible cards and play that character.
The characters are favorites, too; not no-name characters that you've never heard of or have to learn about them. They have X-Men, Wrestling League, Avatar, Ben 10, and Marvel Heroes. They plan on producing more too. Again, you can't interchange different cards with other systems. For example, Ben 10 cards will not play on X-Men machines.
By building your collection of Hyperscan cards, you can boost your powers, add characters, and modify them both.
One of the coolest things about Hyperscan is that you can rescan your card at the end of the game and keep those powers you have earned until the next time you play.
Another bonus is that each time you play it is a different game--rather than playing the same stages over and over again. With these cards, you can create endless combinations and never play the same game twice.
In fact, you can pause the game and scan a modification card right during the game to change your abilities. The power to customize your game is in your own control.
The marketing genius of it is that you constantly want to upgrade your collection and can through buying new characeters and booster cards.
The game system comes in Hyper Scan and a special edition X-Men Hyperscan edition, which comes with 1 game console, 1 game disc, 1 controller, and 6 character cards. It is rated T for Teens. They come with an a/c adaptor, game cables and instructions too.
They are new on the market. Advertising on tv has started, too. All the kids at school are talking about wanting to get one.
