I am writting this due to a recent purchase I made and reserched Please check what you have bid on and won. Hynix Ram has a site that you can check to see it the non working ram is what you bid on. I am finding more and more places that are selling bad ram as for example 1gig and it is really a non functioning 512mg. 99% of you will not check to see if you have been riped off this is what I did.

I recieved that ram I puchase as a winning bidder. I first check the numbers on the ram to make sure that it was a match for my computer. However the Numbers said it was a 512mg not a 1gig stick. I then took it to the computer sales in town that had a ram check. This is a little gaget that you place the ram in and it will tell you if the ram is good and what it is. This stick was DOA. Now For fun I aske the tech what size it was and he could not tell me due to it being DOA. I then pulled out my sheet that I printed off the Hynix website that. I showed him how to figur it out and he was ammazed LOL techs LOL.. This chip is clearly marked as a 512mg. Non functioning chip.  Now I went back to the Feed back on this person and noticed that he was getting very bad feedback saying  DOA, JUNK, Bad Ebayer, ETC. I also notice the bad Feed Back this person was leaving the people he cheated. What nerve. So I posted the the HYNIX link on the feed back showing the site only that gave the numbers how to determine the what the Chip is well I got a bad Feed Back LOL go figure. Here is the link but you have to put it together hynix.com /eng/ 02_products/ 01_dram/ down/DDR. pdf  Take the spaces out so then paste it in your brouser,  see ebay will not allow me to put a link to ather sites here or any where. on ebay except on auctions. good luck.

You can do this with a littel work on most things So just make shure is you got an asis item it was not sold to you in bad faith.

I will add the seller I recieved this problem from Did email me saying to return the Item and they would send me the right one. Now that I have reported him do you think i will get a working chip. LOL Please protect you self. and check these little things

Make sure the Item is as dicribed in the auction.

Make shure that the item can be checked

do not just put it in your machine it could be bad and cause harm to your machine.

and it it passed all the checks then you bought a asis item if it said not tested not working You just bought junk

However if you bought something that said not tested and asis and it is not what they say it is then You can bet you have just been cheated and you will be able to get your money back.
