I just bought a used rig in like new condition (I think, from the person that wrote the guide below this one).   It was very well assembled and measured square.  The original owner said that the machine performed fine for him so I believe his frustration was with assembly and possibly freight damage but not the drill itself.  I set it up in a couple hours and after digging mud pits, had it drilling.    I need to wait for my ground loops before I get serious about further drilling and I will post more feedback as I progress.   I have talked to Tim several times and he has been very helpful and upfront about this machine.   ...so far I would highly recommend Hydra-Fab.   I suspect this drill is more than adequate for the 200' boreholes that I need and the success of my drilling adventure will be determined by my soil conditions, skill and patience.
