Husqvarna is one of the leading manufacturers of chain saws.  Husqvarna begin producing chain saws in 1959.  Soon afterward, the revolutionary Model 70 chain saw was introduced.  The Model 70 was a lightweight saw, which helped forestry workers use them for longer periods of time, and in a variety of different locations.

One of the main reasons for Husqvarna's success is the company's philosophy of considering the needs of the worker. The Husqvarna Type 180 set the bar for safety and performance.  Over the years, Husqvarna has produced chain saws for a variety of different applications.  The Rancher 50 (in production today as the 55) was designed for farmers and occasional users.  The 40 and 154 were both lightweight saws for moderate usage.  The 357 XP was a powerful model still available today.

Husqvarna is an industry leader in the world of landscaping and gardening equipment as well.   Husqvarna offers everything from a reel mower for small yards to variety of riding mowers for larger areas.  The GTH2654T riding mower features a powerful Kawasaki engine, and a large fuel tank for finishing those large mowing tasks without refueling.
