I have a complete service for 8 Rosenthal/Thomas fine china.  This is a non-production set. I have servers and covered dishes, and all is in absolute mint condition.  Does anyone have any information regarding value?

This set was imported from Germany in 1951 by my father (he's still alive).  It was an antique when he purchased the set.  It was described to him as a one-of-a-kind hand painted hunting scene dinner ware.  We never used it because of the graphic nature of the animals being chased by hounds.  There are boar, stags, hare and some animals that we don't know.

If you are a collector of the unusual this would be a beautiful addition.  Or, if you are a hunter with impecable taste this would be put to good use.

It is ivory in color with a soft "scale" like embossed border with fine gold accents.  The animals are realistic and the colors are very vibrant.
