Polymer clay (non flexible) molds

Polymer clay molds are great for MANY arts and crafts projects! Ideas are UNLIMITED when it comes to being creative with these molds.  I've created many molds using hard to find and unique items.  You can use your clay push molds over and over and are washable with soap and water.

1- Simply brush your mold with talcum powder or cornstarch.

2- Push a small ball of clay into your mold (being sure to leave a small piece over the edge to use as a "handle" to pull your clay out of the mold).  Bread dough and many homemade, or store bought  clays can also be used in these molds.

3- Pull your clay out, cut off the handle,  and shape or smooth any rough edges if desired.   If your clay is being stubborn to remove ... simply put the mold in freezer and "pop" your clay out after it is frozen.  A great trick!!

You can use colored clay or you can use non- colored clay and paint your final piece. A great paintable clay is the new "Ultra light " clay by Sculpey.  I love it!

 Examples of clay mold uses...

1-  Food for your dollhouse kitchen

2- Objects for dollhouse wreaths

3- Picture frames for your dollhouse walls or mantles

4- Scrapbook embellishments (flatbacks)

5-  Wine glass charms.

6- Charms for the ends of beaded bookmarks

7- Beads and  jewelry making

8- Embellishments on lamp shades or light switches (ex: create a cute leaf and flower for your childs lightswitch cover.)

9- Embellishments on picture frames or wooden letters. Imagine a wooden letter covered with lots of tiny daisies! CUTE!

10- Show your support for your childs team by creating a sports pin (broach) or earrings!!

 Flexible clay molds

These are the newest addition to my mold collection. These are AWESOME! The nice thing about flexible molds is that you do NOT need any release agent to get your final piece out. I usually push in my clay, put it in the freezer, then push the final piece out!

These molds are food safe and make great decorations for cakes and cupcakes! You can use these molds over and over.

They are also usable with wax and plaster and the final piece will just pop right out.

I have many molds and can make ANY of them to be flexible or non flexible. If you do not see what you are looking for in my store, drop me an email and I'll be happy to list you an auction! ;o)

Be creative. It's fun and inexpensive! ;o)

Have an idea of your own?? Let me know about it. I'd love to add it to my list!
