Where are the links to my account with personal info, notification preferences, my address, etc?

Hover or click on the Account tab.

How do I show the number of days since a sale?

Go to the Sold section of My eBay Summary and click on the Edit link.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner.  Then look at the column headed Timing, it will show Sale Date with a drop-down.  Click on the drop-down and choose Days since sale.

Somewhere I saw both watchers and views - where is that?

Number of views is available only on the Active Selling page (not the Summary).  Click on Active on the sidebar, then notice the column headed Views/Watchers.  Click the two circled icons to populate the column (you'll need to do this each time you visit the page if you want this info).  You can Sort (temporary Sort, not sticky) your active listings on that page by Watchers or Viewers, as well as numerous other options.

I want to be able to see more than 10 items in a module on the Summary.

Click on Page Options at the top of the Summary.  Change the number toward the bottom to 25 (that's the maximum number allowed per module on the Summary).  If you want to view more items in a module, click on its link on the sidebar - you'll be able to see 200 items per page.

How can I add in the Dashboard on the left hand side?

You'll need to get the URL for your Seller Dashboard.  Click on the Account tab and copy the URL.  Now go back to the Summary page and click on the Edit Shortcuts button in the Shortcuts section.  Enter the shortcut name in the box, then the url in the next box, then click the Save button.  (Before you click the Save button, you might want to look at the shortcuts above and check any off that you think you might want).

How can I sort by buyer (or seller) user id?

Click on the drop-down in the desired container.

How can I show the item number?

Go to the Sold section of My eBay Summary and click on the Edit link.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner. Check off the box that is in front of Item ID in the column labeled Item. This is possible for Won items as well.

How can I show the total amount for the item?

Go to the desired module of My eBay Summary and click on the Edit link (for example, if you want to see the totals for items you're Watching, go to that module; for items you've Won, go to that module).  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner. In the column labeled Pricing, click on the drop-down and choose Total Cost (it shows Shipping Cost by default).  Click the Apply button to save.

Why isn't Shipping displayed in its own column like before?

You can display these columns:  Start Price, Current Price, and Shipping or Total (current + shipping).  Go to the desired module of My eBay Summary and click on the Edit link.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner. In the column labeled Pricing, click on the drop-down and choose Shipping if it's not being displayed.  Click the Apply button to save.

How can I change the default sort by shipping status (or Paid Status, Feedback Left or Received, Sale Date, or Price)  in the Items Sold module?

All column headings in My eBay are clickable.  Clicking a column heading sorts the data by that criteria.  Therefore, if you want to sort by Shipping Status, click on the Box icon.  If after you do that, you want the data sorted by opposite direction, click it again.

This does not change the default; it only makes the change for the current session.  Will be able to set Sorts permanently in a few weeks.

How do I get the seller's ID to show up in Items Won?

If the seller ID is not being displayed, click on Edit on the colored bar for that module. Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner. Check the box in front of Seller ID.  You could, if desired, choose to display the seller's email address instead.  Click the Apply button to save.

How do I get the buyer's email address to show up in Items Sold?

Go to the Sold container.  Click on Edit on the colored bar.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner.  Under the heading Member, click the drop-down that currently shows Buyer ID.  Choose Buyer Email.  Click Apply.

How do I show the buyer's zip code in Items Sold?

Go to the Sold container.  Click on Edit on the colored bar.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own in the corner.  Under the heading Member, check the box in front of Zip Code.  Click Apply.

How do I contact my buyer?  Send an invoice? How do I view the order details?  How do I mark an item as paid?

Go to the Sold container.  On the far right of the item title will be an outlined box with text and an upside-down triangle in it.  Click on that triangle.  It will expand into several options that you can take.

How do I leave more than one feedback at a time?  How do I see my recent feedback?

Click on Page Options and under Connect, check the box in front of Feedback then click Apply.  You'll get a container with two tabs - one that shows your 5 most recent feedback, and one that shows you the feedback you need to leave.

There is also a Leave Feedback link in Shortcuts that will take you to the page where all your feedback to be left is. You can click on Edit Shortcuts and check off the box in front of it so it displays.

How to I add a note to an item?

Add a note about an item from the "action menu" on the far right for item. Click the upside-down triangle to open the menu of options, one of which is “Add Note.” You can also revise or remove a note this way.

How do I end a listing early?  Revise a listing?  Sell a similar item?

Go to the Active Selling container.  On the far right of the item title will be an upside-down triangle.  Click on that triangle.  It will expand into several options that you can take.

How do I add or remove modules on my Summary page?

Click the Page Options link.  Check or uncheck any of the available modules.  Note:  Even if you do not sell, you may want to include the Active Selling module somewhere on the page. Then, in the unlikely event that a bad guy takes over your account, you’ll immediately notice that someone has listed items with your account.

How do I move things around on the Summary page?

Click the Edit link on the module's colored bar then choose the desired link to move it.

I want a module to be on the Summary, but if it's empty I don't want to see that red message.

Collapse a module by clicking the Edit link on the module's colored bar. Choose Collapse to reduce the vertical height down to nothing but the header/title. To expand it again, click the Edit menu and choose "expand."

Can I get rid of the orange and red boxes for Ending Soon and Unanswered Message, etc.?

No, they can't be removed or prevented (the red Unanswered Message will go away if you reply to the message using My Messages).

What's so "exciting" about being able to change the colors?

You can color-code similar functions for faster visual navigation.

How many items can I have in a module on the Summary page?

You can have up to 25 items in each module on the Summary page.  Click on the Page Options link at the top right of the Summary, then choose 25 from the drop-down where it says: Choose the number of items to display per section on your summary page.

How many items can I have on the non-Summary pages?

You can show up to 200 items per page on pages other than the Summary (such as the Watching page).  Click the number at the bottom of that module.

How do I add thumbnail pictures?

Go to the desired module of My eBay Summary and click on the Edit link.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off Choose your own. Under the column labeled Item, check the box in front of Picture.  Click the Apply button to save.

Where are my favorite searches, favorite sellers, and favorite categories?

Favorite searches and favorite sellers have been renamed to Saved Searches and Saved Sellers.  You'll find a link to each under the heading called "Organize" on the sidebar.

You can also add a Saved Search module to the Summary.  Click on Page Options at the top of the Summary page.  Check the box in front of Saved Searches.  Note that the Saved Searches module on the Summary page will display a preview of the first search by default, which you may find slows page load time.

Favorite categories has been removed, but you can easily add a category as a Saved Search.  Go to the category by clicking on Buy on the top navigation bar then Browse Categories and navigate to the desired category level.  Then click the (Save this Search) link next to the line that says how many items are in the category.

How do I delete a Saved Seller?  How do I delete a Saved Search?

Click on Saved Seller or Saved Search under Organize on the sidebar.  In the bordered box on the far right, click on the upside-down triangle.  Choose Delete Search. This is also how you edit a search, or sign up for emails if you didn't sign up when you saved the search.

How can I tell when eBay last sent an email for a particular Saved Search?

Click on Saved Searches on the sidebar under Organize.  Click on the little arrow on the LEFT.  The date sent - or an indicator that you're not subscribed for email - will be shown.

How do I stop getting saved searches emails?

Click on Saved Searches on the left-hand column. Then find the search in question. Click on the far LEFT arrow to expand the section. Click on Edit and uncheck the email option. You can also enable emails for a saved search this way.

How do I sort the searches on the Saved Searches page?

Click on the drop-down link next to Sort by in the upper right-hand corner of the Saved Searches page.  They can be sorted alphabetically or by creation date.  Note that you can rename your searches when you save or edit them.

I want/don't want the Saved Searches module on the Summary page.  How do I do that?

Click on Page Options at the top of the Summary page.  Check (or uncheck) the box in front of Saved Searches.  Note that the Saved Searches module on the Summary page will display a preview of the first search by default, which you may find slows page load.

Where did the list of Recently Viewed Items and Recent Searches go?

Click the All Buying link on the sidebar and scroll down to the How about these? module.  You can see recently viewed items, recent searches, saved searches, saved sellers, popular searches, and top-selling products in this module.

How do I use "Lists"?

First and foremost, be aware that there is only one copy of a search, item, etc., in My eBay.  Therefore, if you create a list and put a Saved Search in it, that Search must ALSO remain on the Saved Searches page.  If you delete it from the main page, it will be removed from your List as well.  The same is true for Watched items:  if you put it in a List, it must ALSO remain in the Watched Items module.  eBay provides a fairly detailed explanation of how to work with Lists; see the tacked thread about it on the My eBay discussion board.

How do I delete a List?

Click on Lists on the sidebar. Check the box in front of the List title that you want to remove. Click the Delete button.

Can I move the Shortcuts section?

The Shortcuts section must always remain on the sidebar.  But you can move it up or down if you have other modules on the left-hand side by clicking on the Edit link on its color bar.

Where are My Preferences?  How do I change my address?  Where is my Seller Dashboard?

Hover or click on the tab labeled "Account" at the top of the Summary page.

Where did all the shortcuts go?

You can customize your own links to display in the Shortcuts section at the lower left of the sidebar.  Go to the desired page and copy the URL that is displayed in your web browser (the links don't have to be eBay-related!).  Then come back to the Summary page and click the Edit Shortcuts button.  Enter a name for the Shortcut then enter the URL.  While you're there, check or uncheck any links from the provided list.  Then click the Save button.

How do I add totals for Selling and Buying activity?

Click the Page Options link toward the top on the right.  Check the box in front of  Totals then click the Apply button.  All of the Totals will be displayed in a module on the Summary.  If you are a buyer and don't need to see the Selling totals, for example, go to the colorbar on the Totals module, click the Edit button then uncheck Selling.

You can move the Totals module up and down, or left or right, or change the color of its colorbar.  Totals is a stand-alone module.

How do I change the opening page for My eBay?

Click on the General Settings link on the top right of any page in My eBay and choose the page you'd like to see first.

What happened to the Buying Reminders and Selling Reminders?

You can add either or both back to the Summary page.  Click on Page Options at the top of the page and check the desired box, then click Apply.

I don't Sell (or Buy) under this user id.  How do I get rid of all that stuff I don't need on the Summary?

You can close up the sections on the sidebar, and you can remove the modules from the main Summary page:

Click the title or arrow on the left of Buy, Sell, or Organize if you don't want the links displayed for that function on the sidebar. The section will collapse. (It should stay closed all the time until you click it again.)  You can expand the section by clicking on the title or arrow again.

Click on Edit on the colorbar of any modules you wish to remove and choose Delete.

I want to see My Messages on the Summary page - can I do that?

The intention of the Summary page is to be a "snapshot" of what's in My eBay.  You can add a module that will display the 5 most recent messages:  click on Page Options then check off Messages and click Apply.  With this feature, you can/will see the person's picture in front of the message title if they are using one (non-editable).  Otherwise, click on the Messages tab at the top of each page in My eBay.

The seller ids aren't showing in the Active Buying page (or Summary section)!

Go to the page or module, and click on Edit on the colorbar.  Then click on Customize at the top of the popup.  Check off "Choose Your Own" then check the box in front of Seller ID.  Click Apply.

How do I sort my listings by format?

eBay has not implemented that function.  You can filter by format (see immediately below), but not sort by format.

How can I show just my listings that have Reserve Met or a Bid, an Offer, are on Sale, etc.?

Go to the Active Selling module and click on the drop-down next to View.  You can filter to show just the listings that have bid(s), reserve met, have an open offer, lead, or price or shipping markdown.

How do I get rid of "Welcome to your summary page??"

Check off the box on the bottom left, in front of "Don't show this again" then click the X on the opposite corner.

How do I make a Second Chance Offer?

If an item is eligible, click on the down arrow (inverted triangle) in the far-right Action column.  Second-Chance Offer will be displayed as an option.

How do I print in My eBay?

The Print function is on the sub-pages in My eBay; it is not available on the Summary page.

I used to be able to add a Seller from the Favorites page - I can't now?

Create a Shortcut in the Shortcuts section on the sidebar::  Add new Seller or Store:  http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?AddSavedSeller&ru=MyeBayAllFavorites

I used to be able to see Top Picks from my favorite sellers - I can't now?

Top Picks is now at the bottom of the Saved Sellers page.  You can also create a Shortcut in the Shortcuts section on the sidebar:  See Top Picks from Favorite Sellers:  http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?FavSellerTopPicks

Where do I find the monthly Sales Reports?

Hover on the Account tab, then click Subscriptions.

I want to get rid of all the stuff on the left - can I?

You cannot remove the Buy, Sell, or Organize sections.  You can collapse them to a single line.  You can remove Shortcuts by clicking on Page Options and unchecking the box.

There's too much white space on the sides - can I fix that??

If you have a monitor/resolution setup that is wider than 1024 pixels, you can expand the browser window beyond 1024 and the My eBay page will flex to that size. If you are seeing white space on the sides of your My eBay display, try grabbing the side of the browser window and dragging it so that it is narrower. Release your mouse. Then drag it back to the width you want. The My eBay page will flex to fill the space.

What happened to the relist icon?  How can I tell what the Quantity Remaining is on an item I've listed?

The relist icon was removed. Click on Edit on the colored bar for the container, then on Customize.  You can display Initial Quantity and Quantity Remaining - they will be shown underneath the title.
