I've put together a real quick guide that will help you get the absolute most out of your coupons that state "valid one per visit". This is especially valuable for coupons that are good for free items, products, or services that don't require a purchase in order to use the coupon. These usually state "no purchase necessary" somewhere on the coupon. It's very easy to use multiple coupons per visit at just about any retailer and in this guide, I'm going to show you exactly how I've done it and continue to do it each and every single week. I'm going to use some Chuck E Cheese coupons as an example, but this guide will work with just about any coupon or retailer out there (free coffee coupons work great too).
For the purpose of illustration, let me bring you up to speed real quick. I'm going to focus this guide on Chuck E Cheese coupons that are good for free tokens. These coupons state "valid one per family, per visit" and "no purchase necessary". These coupons are commonly available and distributed by Chuck E Cheese for promotions, birthdays, and giveaways. You can also get these coupons right here on eBay. I'll include some links and pictures at the bottom of this guide. Chuck E Cheese itself is a entertainment type restaurant that is geared towards families with children between the ages of 2 - 18, and it's fun for parents too. Food wise, they serve primarily pizza, but also have a good salad bar, sandwiches, appetizers, and drinks. Now the entertainment value comes in a couple of different ways. One, they have characters dressed up as Chuck E Cheese and friends in these giant costumes and they will entertain the kids, and some locations have a "live band" type atmosphere where the music is by automated characters on stage with band instruments. It's kind of hard to explain, but the kids love it. The second form of entertainment is what we are really going to be focusing in on, the video games.
The video games at Chuck E Cheese's will vary by location, but all locations only require use of 1 token per game. This is great since most arcades are going to charge you a couple, if not several, tokens for each game. Tokens cost $0.25 each. So let's say that now you have some coupons good for free tokens, you're ready to start playing, but the coupons are limited to only using one per visit. Here are a few of the ways I've been able to use as many as 20 coupons per visit that state you can only use 1.

Here are a few of the ways I've been able to use as many as 20 coupons per visit that state you can only use 1.
- Staff. The kids working the counter usually don't care how many coupons you use. This is so extremely basic and simple, but it is so often overlooked. You've got absolutely nothing to lose by handing in more than one coupon at a time. (I've included a pic at the bottom of this guide showing the use of 3 coupons).
- Leverage. Don't forget the power of leverage. Leverage in this case is your children. Hand each of your children 1 coupon and have them wait in line with you. When you get to the register, have your children hand their ticket in, and make their own transaction. This also teaches your kids how to conduct transactions for goods and paying for them. (In this case they are paying with a coupon). When they are done cashing in their coupons, you can then cash in yours.
- Make multiple trips to the register. The coupons I am talking about are usually good for either 10 or 20 tokens each. Now considering that each game will only cost you one token, it will take you a little bit of time to consume some of your free tokens. Once those are either gone, or close to gone, head back to the register. Hand in another coupon, and get some more free tokens.
- Visit different registers. This is especially true on the weekends. Over the weekend, this place gets packed with kids, and their parents too. To compensate for this, there is extra staff working. Go to a different register and redeem coupons with different workers.
- Birthday Party #1. This one is great! When you have a birthday party bring a ton of these coupons with you. You will have a birthday host assigned to your group. These are like your personal C.E.C. assistant. They will run all over the place, get you drinks, food, they bring the cake out, lead the party, etc. Hand them your coupons and ask them to go redeem them for you. These guys/gals work for tips. They are going to do everything in their power to make sure you are happy, hoping for a bigger tip. This is where I was able to use 20 at once. I handed them to our party host, who brought back 400 tokens for me. 400 tokens for free! Now go spread those out to your party guests.
- Birthday Party #2. This works awesome too! Typically, when you have a birthday party, you invite kids from your child's class right? What about their other friends? OK, well, these kids are all there on a visit, AND, they are from different families! Each child is entitled to redeem 1 coupon themselves. Simple enough, hand each child in the birthday party 1 coupon and tell them to go to the register to get their free tokens.
Here are a couple of real quick tips and tricks:
- Smile. Something as simple as a smile can work wonders for you. Afterall, who wants to be nice to a grouch!
- Experiment. Try new things. The worst that's going to happen is someone will say "no". All of the above examples and ways that I've outlined here, I had to experiment with.
