Make beautiful vintage kitchen flour sack towel sets to give or sell by using Aunt Martha's Ball Point Paint Tubes.  This is a fast way to create a set of towels to match any kitchen decor. 

Start by selecting any Aunt Martha's Embroidery transfer pattern and use a hot iron (I always use the hottest setting) to stamp on to your flour sack towel.  I wash my towels before starting so there won't be any problems with fabrics that may shrink and then pucker your painted item.

Secure the towel into a Ballpoint Painting Hoop by:

1. Laying a blotter paper on the base of hoop (or a paper towel)
2. Next, lay your flour sack towel or fabric over blotter paper, design side up.
3. Then, press hoop's outer ring over base.
4. Be sure to pull the fabric taut all around. 

Select your Ball Point Paints.  You will want to have a scrap rag or a paper towel that is folded up to practice getting the paint flowing.  If the tube is new, start your paint flowing on your scrap piece by holding the paint tube vertically and press down firmly.  You will want to make sure that you are holding the tube vertically and not at an angle like you would when you are writing.

If you still have trouble getting the paint to flow evenly, squeeze tube GENTLY from the rear to move the paint toward the tip.  Never squeeze tube while painting. 

This is such a fun/quick/easy way to create a wonderful set of towels.
