With Mini Blind Murals it is very simple to turn your window into a work of art that adds beauty and greater privacy to any room and can be done in 4 simple steps.
First of all...What is a Mini Blind Mural?
An authentic Mini Blind Mural is a landscape or seascape mural painted onto a Mini Blind. We use acrylic paint and a combination of airbrush and hand painting techniques on one inch light filtering vinyl mini blinds. Each one takes days to create and is custom made to fit your window. No two will be exactly alike. It is a work of art, our canvas is a mini blind.
The Mini Blind Mural also adds greater privacy then a plain white mini blind. Turn on all the light in your room and walk outside. You can see the silhouette of the people in that room and all that they are doing. It is like living in a fishbowl. With a Mini Blind Mural the view from outside is a reverse and muted view of the painting.
Step 1. Choosing a design. This is the actually the hardest part of turning your window into a work of art because there are so many designs to choose from.
People choose their design for a variety of reasons, it is very personal.
I change mine with the seasons. I do this because, like so many Floridians I am a transplanted New Yorker. I miss the obvious change of seasons. Autumn or fall is my favorite season. I miss the pumpkin farms, apple picking, the chill in the air, and the excitement of the up coming holidays. Most of all I miss the changing of the leaves. That is why I have Autumn Hills in my living room and Autumn lakes in my kitchen.
We have had quite a few orders come from New York City. One customer was a computer graphics designer who worked from home. The view from the window in his work area was a red brick wall. He ordered the Woodland Deer Mini Blind Mural because it reminded him of home.
A customer in California ordered the Flower Falls Mini Blind Mural for her meditation room. She wanted to create the feeling of being in a serene woodland area listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall.
A customer in Canada ordered 7 of the Riverview Mini Blind Mural for her screened in back porch in order to create the illusion of living in a palatial waterfront estate.
Once you discover what is important to you in a design, you find the right one. Remember, if the right design has the wrong color scheme for your room we can make small changes to make it work for you.
We have added butterflies, changed the tower and flower colors and altered the skyline colors to the Princess Castle Mini Blind Mural in order for it better coordinate with the bedroom of a customers 1 year old granddaughter.
