I have been in the resale business for several years. From owning a resale boutique to selling on Ebay, it's helpful to know a few details about the clothing I sell.

Of course examining each article for flaws goes without saying. But when I get some clothing items that look like new, how do I know how much it has been worn or laundered?

Look at the tag, usually at the back inside of the garment. If the item has not been washed much the tag will still look new as well.

These days some new clothing has been prewashed and designed to look faded. But by examining those tags, you will be able to say this garment is just like new!
