Coach bags are some of the finest handbags in the world today. I only discovered them a few years ago. I had been to a Coach store & the bag I wanted they couldn't get anymore. I being a typical ebay person thought I can get it on ebay. This was my first mistake. Ebay is a great place however some people will take advantage of this fact. I found the bag placed my bid & voila it was mine. I paid as requested with exsisting funds & then no answer  from my seller. I checked a few days later & to my dismay the seller was no longer a member. I emailed ebay & asked how to get my money back. I ended losing money & no bag. So I went into research mode & now I know some about Coach that may help others. So here is my knowledge & I hope it helps.

1. Coach is always very precise in the stitching & craftsmanship.

2. If you are getting a signature bag then it will have (most likely) twill lining.

3. Leather coach has signature fabric.

4. The tan cc lining you see on alot of bags on ebay is FAKE!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like paper & is not hard to spot. Also you can tell if the trim is not leather which it usually is not on fakes.

5. I have ordered from Coach.com & never will anything come wrapped in plastic that is a sure sign.

6. Always call Coach to check what color the hardware, lining, & hangtags should be on a bag & also make sure you get the serial number all of it & ask if it's correct. On some bags the zip pull is a sure sign. Ask on that as well.  Lots of knockoffs don't have the correct markings & can fool people but be sure to always see the exact bag don't buy from a stock photo.  

7. If you sellers feedback are set to private that is a huge red flag. Or if they have negs for fakes beware. If your seller has a ton of Coach or other high end bags that is also not a good sign. 

8. Some Coach employees do use their discounts & buy to resale but seldom.

9. Coach DOES NOT sell 2nds  what comes from a  factory store are discontinued colors or styles. They never ever have seconds. Beware of sellers using that ruse.

10. Lastly  there are a ton of fakes on ebay of all designers some are selling for thousands (hermes) for instance, & others not so much but if the deal is too good to be true then don't fall for it. Your money is too hard to get.

I personaly love the Coach Factory stores, you can get awesome deals there. Coach factory stores are not selling seconds they only sell discontinued or bags that are colors that are no longer made.  I hope this will help someone it is my first time writing & please feel free to contact me if needed. Just remember Coach will tell you everything about the bag you are interested but they are prejudiced about ebay so word your questions carefully & if you mention ebay they may say fake without being sure.
