Authentic Hoodia is actually very rare!  It is of the cactus family that is found ONLY in South Africa.  There are several compounds in Hoodia that help suppress appetite.  P57 is a molecule found in Hoodia that is 10,000 as active as glucose. It effects the mid-brain and makes the nerve cells feel as though you are full - thus suppressing appetite.  To date there are no reported adverse effects cause by Hoodia.

All the recent media attention makes Hoodia the most publicized natural weight loss product in America.  Due to this fact and that Hoodia is very limited in quanity makes this a prime candidate for counterfeiting.  Is is found that approximately 50% of the products stating to be hoodia are misleading - being that there was either very little or NO Hoodia at all.  Just wasting your hard earned money!

Real Hoodia!

Follow the rules below to be for certain you are making the right decision when it comes to your weight loss...

1 (the most important rule of all) The product must be able to be authenticated by a "current" and substantiated lab report.  This report should verify the origin and quality of the Hoodia.  There should also be a Lot number that corresponds with the batch tested on the product label.

2 The product MUST show the C.I.T.I.E.S Certificate with the Country of Origin being So Africa.  Make sure it is clear and legible and the date should be no older than 6 months!

3 Avoid products with additives and fillers.

4 Products that claim to have large amounts of Hoodia should be avoided.  You can actually become ill if you consume more than 800 mgs of real hoodia at one time.

5 Many gimmick products are found in the form of patches, gum, tea, coffee and shakes.

6 Beware of the CHEAP hoodia products  Hoodia does not come cheap!  Remember the rule - if iit looks too good to be true - it probably is.

7 Beware of the "Free Trial" offers, especially through email spamming - Many are SCAMS!

8 Choose a company that is established and can substantiate their claims - Their Website should have:

- a number to call and ask questions or place an order

-a physical address

-product informations - purity info.

-refund policy

-Better Business Bureau seal (BBB)

-Customer Service number, not just an email!
