This is my guide no how to spot fake Spyder Jackets on Ebay .  I find the easiest way to see them is by looking at the hang tags on the coat the fake ones are on the upper part of the coat . Real Spyder Jackets have the hang tags on the end of the sleeve.  The above jacket is fake .  All real Spyder Jackets   have a model name be it Zermatt , St Anton Vail or whatever there is no jackets that are just called Spyder . When you come across one ask the seller the name of the jacket its on the hang tag also all spyder jackets from the quest range upwards have a lens wipe on a shock cord ( a small chamoix cloth with spyders printed on it on the end of a retractable coil ) Ask the seller if they have this if they don't its fake There is a lot of fake jackets on ebay.If you are in doubt about an item that is listed , I would be more than happy to tell you if it is genuine or not  Just give me the item # .I know there is  a lot of real jackets to and would be glad to point them out. I hope this is of help  Spyder is the best quality ski gear you can buy and it is expensive but worth it  dont buy that fake crap if you are a serious skier. I have been a skier for the last 40 years . I also worked in a Ski Shop for 10 years I know my ski gear  . I ski 40 to 50 days a year my gear takes alot of wear and it holds up. I have been using Spyder  clothing for the last 20 years I still have my first Spyder Jacket . Fake Jackets will not last the year out!
