Can't get to the dealership? Worried you have to be at an accessory store to get the right sizing? These are legitimate concerns when shopping online but it is possible to get what you want and do a good job of sizing when shopping online.
Having worked with mail order customers for over 35 years, we've learned how to successfully size and sell riding gear online. Using the appropriate sizing charts, asking the right questions, and providing outstanding customer care ensures we get customer orders right the first time.
Need pants? If you are not comfortable using the provided size chart, just let us know your waist size and inseam. We can take it from there. We fit and size online and telephone customers everyday and have for years. We have charts of our own that we have made up from our own customer sizing experiences. Many times we will find folks in our store or warehouse with the same waist and inseam and and have them try the pants on just to make sure it will fit right when you receive it.
The same thing applies with riding jackets. The charts we provide are very accurate but if you generally have trouble finding things that fit, just let us know. We'll get your chest, waist, and arm length measurements and fix you up from there. Before we ship, we'll find someone that measures like you and have them try it on or check our chart for measurements that correspond to yours and size you up that way. Either way, you'll receive the best possible fit from us the first time.
Helmets are the easiest to size online. The charts are fantastic and very, very, accurate. Just measure from the center of your forehead just above your eye brows all the way around your head and back to the center of your forehead. That measurement is the one you use to determine your best fit. Now, if you have had trouble getting a helmet to fit when even trying them on in person, give us a call. Let's discuss the problems you've been having as we've more than likely ran into these kinds of problems before and will be able to figure out what helmet and what size you need. We have helmets from XS all the way up to 5X and helmets made for round and oval heads. With a little extra information from you, we'll be able to get you going for sure.
Boots are sometimes tricky in that some are American sized, some are Euro sized, and some are Euro sized with American sizes stamped in them. The best way to buy boots is to use the provided chart. If there are only whole sizes available and you generally wear a half size, always go up to the next size for the best possible fit. Unless noted, most riding boots come in a D to E width so if you need a more narrow or a wider boot, take the time to email or call us so we can suggest the boot for you.
If you are lucky, you generally always fit in the same size you always do and never have trouble ordering online. For those of you who have trouble being fitted even when in a dealership, take the time to call or email us. We have help standing by online and on the telephone and with the right questions and conversation, can get you fixed up right.
We are great at what we do and that's not just bragging. We've helped thousands and thousands of customers try on riding gear to ensure proper fit. We take that knowledge and experience and just apply it to our online customers. While you are not there in person to try on the gear, someone like you has been and we are able to make that connection to ensure you get the best possible fit the first time.
