First, you will need the following materials
1. A soft sleeve (penny sleeve)
2. A snug fitting toploader
3. An index card
4. Clear tape
5. A small bubble mailer.
6. A sciccors
7. The card you plan to ship
8. A pen
First, use the scissors to cut a tiny slit on the top corner of the penny sleeve.
- make sure the cut on the penny sleeve is small and smooth
Second, insert the the card into the penny sleeve, putting in one corner, then sliding the card over to the cut, then slowy pushing it down to the bottom of the sleeve.
- if the card doesn't fit, adjust the size of the cut
Third, carefully slide the card into a snug fitting toploader
- make sure the toploader is a good fit. If the case is top small, you could damage the card putting it in the case. If it is too large, the card could move around in the case, damaging it during shipping
Fourth, cut the index card in half
Fifth, use half of the index and tape it around the top of the toploader using clear tape, so the opening of the toploader is mostly (or all) covered
- if you do not use and index card and just tape it, the card could come in contact with the tape, possibly chipping the edges, bending the corners, or tearing the surface of the card
Sixth, slide the card and it's protection into the bubble mailer with anything else you would like to include ( reciept, e-mail, etc.)
Seventh, seal the bubble mailer and write the address on it.
