We all would like to scrapbook our pregnancy but where do we start. I will be sharing some tips and techniques on how to and what to put in your pregnancy scrapbooks

1. Take pictures of you during each month so you can document how much your tummy has grown & label them 1 month, 2 month ect...

2. Keep a newspaper from the day you had your baby

3. get or make a calendar with a lot of spaces to write your dctr appts, the day you found out you were pregnant, morning sickness, cravings, document your weight gain, childbirth classes ect....

4. Take a picture of your pregnancy test

5. keep everything from your ob/gyn names, photos, business cards to your nurses names & photos, any teachers from childbirth classes, your babies name ( meaning of name & how you selected that name ) ultrasound pictures ( make copies )

6. Keep all this stuff too - reciepts or tags from your maternity clothes, swatches of fabric from clotes, diary of pregancy ( dreams, special diet, favorite sleeping postition, food cravings )

7.  Keep all this stuff from the nursery - before and after photos, paint chips/swatches of fabric, pictures of you decorating the nursery, recipts from the furniture ( crib, stroller, high chair, swing ect. )

8. Keep all this stuff from the baby shower - Invitations, any cards you recieved, guest list, save some wrapping paper and ribbons to decorate a scrapbook page(s), take pictures of your cake, gifts on table and opening gifts, group shots of everybody, pictures of you and each guest, mother & father to be, picture of the food or refreshments

9. Take pictures of your and your husband registering for baby gifts

10. take pictures of you packing a suitcase, loading up the car, you as you leave the house to go to the hospital, picture of you getting out of the car at the hospital, you in wheelchair, outside of hospital, admitting area, delivery room, any dctrs and nurses helping your delivery, during delivery, clock to show the time of delivery, pictures of you pushing, umbillical cord, dr's and nurses examining the baby, bath, weighing the baby, baby in nursery, pictures of family and friends holding baby, baby in 1st outfit, baby in car seat ect...

11. take pictures of baby coming home- welcome home sign, photos of each person holding the baby, any pets and their reactions, baby sleeping in crib, baby sleeping in dads/moms arms ect...

12. use poems and quotes in your scrapbooks - as you grew so did I , about to pop, getting ready for baby, pink or blue we love you, peek a boo ( ultrasound picture ) were pregnant ect.... Create a ABC list for your scrapbook

the possibilities are endless you can keep just about anything for your scrapbooks, if its too big make a baby time capsule
