Dress: Starting from the top, as a bride you probably want to start thinking about your dress and accessories.  After visiting many local bridal shops within my area I almost collapsed looking at the prices of dresses and accessories.  Do your research, get your measurements and and find everything on Ebay that you would find in the stores for just a 1/4 of the cost!  Take for example the very popular Maggie Sottero dress brand.  In the store minus alterations and sitting fees and any other fee the store charges, the median price for a dress is about $760.00.  I have found the same dress on Ebay, yes Maggie Sottero for as low as $150.00!!  For a designer dress!!  If that is not saving a lot, then I do not know what is!  Do an Ebay search either by designer name, specific dress name or just by simply typing wedding dress into your search.

Accessories: In store a wedding veil roughly costs $160.  Not on Ebay!  The exact veils are selling for $40 or less!

Wedding Ceremony/Reception Decorations:  Need pew bows or flower garland to make the setting just picture perfect?  Go to the store to buy the ribbon or the overpriced flower accessories OR shop Ebay to find great deals on both of these items.  I looked up at a local store what it would cost for some ribbon to decorate chairs.  Stores are charging $17.99 for 10 yards (30 ft.) of this particular ribbon, while ebay sellers are charging $.01 + shipping charge of $4.95 for the EXACT SAME RIBBON, but in quantities of 75 feet!!!  That's more than half less for the ribbon and 65 feet more!  You cannot get better than that!

Invitations: Should we go there?  Go to printing store, see how much they want to charge you to put that beautiful chiffon bow on your invitations or to change your font color to pink.  For 100 invitations I am getting quotes in the $400-$500 range.  Not on Ebay!  For between $100-$225 you can get 100 invitations that come CUSTOM made allowing you to choose font style, color and special wording and also include invitation envelopes, rsvp cards (or often times the option to have postcards to save on shipping), rsvp envelopes, thank you post cards and envelopes, address labels & even sometimes they throw in matching candy wrappers for you to wrap your candies at the reception!

The possibilites are so endless & there just would not be enough time or room to tell you about every little item for your wedding that can be bought through Ebay.  I am so excited to share this information with any bride or groom to be!  If you want a low budget, affordable yet elegant and beautiful wedding, then shopping Ebay for your wedding needs is the thing for you!  I have also made many friends along the way.  Other brides who have just gotten married and are auctioning up their leftover, unused or slightly used items are very nice at offering advice to brides to be & cost saving tips.  So you may get other ideas that you have never even thought of!

I hope you take some of my valuable advice into consideration while planning your fairytale day.  Save $, save time (after all, the items are delivered right to your doorstep) and have fun finding and bidding on items on Ebay that you would not normally find in a local store.
