Choosing Maternity Clothes has always been a problem for most women, and their husbands who would like to give clothes as a gift.  The basic rule of thumb is that the maternity size is suppose to be the same as the size of the woman before she got pregnant.  If you wore a size 5 before you became pregnant then you would wear a size 5 in maternity clothes.  But that does not always work.

The most cost effective way to purchase clothes while you are pregnant is to purchase larger regular size clothes.  Maternity clothes come with a huge price tag and can only be used for a short peroid of time.  Regular plus size clothes run very, very much cheaper and stay in style much longer.

If you wore a size 5 before you became pregnant you could easily fit into a size Large or 1X in 9 months and save lots of money.  If you were a size 1X then you could go to a 4X and still save money and be very trendy.

Lastly do not forget to get lots of hair accessories.  Doing your hair will always make you feel much more attractive and will get you noticed.  Not to mention it takes attention away from the baby and puts it on the mom.
