The key to putting on a really tight bangle is to simply put a plastic bag over your hand and then slide the bangle right over the hand. The plastic bag prevents the oils in your skin from sticking on the bangle and gives the bangle a slick surface to go over.  Trust me, try it and thank me for it later.
