Puting videos on the PSP is Very simple.

Step 1) you need a file that helps you organize your videos and put them on your psp. This file is called the MP_ROOT folder.

In the the MP_ROOT folder the is a sub folder called 100MNV01. This is where you put the videos that you get.

Now that you have these forlders you should hook up the psp to the computer. Then go to my computer and put the MP_ROOT folder into the the main directory of the PSP's memory stick. My PSP is found on Removable Disk (F:).

Step 2) Well there is two different ways you get the movies that you want.

(1) You can get them from Google Video...(which gives you music videos and stuff like that, and when you download them they are already in psp format which i will talk about here in a second)

   1-Already in format

2-All you need to do is put it on the psp.

(2)You can take a DVD and put it on the computer. This means several different things. (you must own the DVD otherwise this is illegal)

1-You always have the DVD on your computer.

2-You can put a movie on your psp, so you have a movie to go on the psp.

3-(the only bad thing) you have to change the video format.

Step 3)*(1) when you get to google video, and you find the video that you want you will see to the right is the button "Download". Then it gives you 3 different formats that you can download it to. We are shooting for the psp format.

Then when you are done you all you have to do is drag it into the 100MNV01 folder. You might have to change the name (but this is not likely) but it is possible. Then you will have to change the name from EX: Car_Crash.MP4 to M4VXXXXX.MP4. (The X's can be any letter or number that you want.)

Step 3)*(2)Well there is this software called DVDDecrypter. You should put the DVD that you want in the computer and follow these steps to the dot. You should search Google for this software.

1-Once you have DVDDecrypter open go to Mode at the top and click on IFO I.

2-at the top next to Mode there is another icon called Tools, click on it and go down to the bottom to settings.

3-Once you are in settings look for that tab at the to that says IFO MODE.

4-there are 2 thing that you need to do while you are on there. Enable stream processing, and change the file splitting to NONE.

5-Now that you have everything you sould click on the icon at the botom to the left that shows a DVD to C:drive.

After you get all that taken care of you find it on Local Disk (C:), it should be called the name of the movie. if you did it right it should be in only 1 .VIDEO_TS document.

Now its going to get a little bit easier.

you need to change the format of the DVD to something that would work on the PSP. You need this free software called PSP VIDEO 9. Search Google.

*This is a Tutorial for PSP VIDEO 9*

1-once you have the DVD put on the computer and everything is in order you should open Video 9.

2-go to the left side and find setup you can mess around with the stuff on there if you want, it helps you with how the video turns out to look like on the psp.

*HINT*Three things that I would do is on Settings is put the Process Priority on "HIGH", on "Profiles" put "passes" on "Two", and also on "Profiles" put the "volume" at "500%."*HINT*

3-Now go to "Convert" on the left side.

   4-Click on "One-Click Transcode."

5-Find the movie that you want to convert, then double click it. It sould start to Convert the video automaticly.

6-When it's done converting the video go to the left side and click "Copy".

7-A prompt should come up saying to conect your psp to your computer.(If you don't already have it pluged into the USB port)

8-Then click on the video on the library that you want and copy it to the psp.

Simple as that.
