I will tell you about the kind of sellers you can meet on EBAY (GRIN...)

Hi! I am a french canadian seller on EBAY called '' combokar '' .I am the father of 2 boys who just love collecting Chaotic and Yu-gi-oh cards .I started helping them build their collection years ago so here you fill find the results of our experience. This is the first of a serie of guides that should help you do things the right way and save a lot of money!!!

When you are done reading dont forget to vote for us! ;O)

This is our guide #4, first we have see how to start collecting cards then how to start filling up our pages cheaply then where to buy our cards and now we will talk about sellers on EBAY.

When you come to EBAY you expect to find what you are looking for at a fair price and be served like you would be in any store face to face with the sellsperson.Right? Welle here on ebay it is the same as in real life just in a different format. There is nice and not so nice ppl ,honest and not so honest ppl,kind and not so kind ppl...Hmmm you get the idea i think. Ok,here are some things to think about when you want to do bisuness with a seller here on EBAY.

Most of the seller (like me of course ;O) ) are VERY kind and professionnal and deserve a 5 star rating when you deal with them which mean you are satisfy of every aspect of the sale.Those seller will treat you they way you need and expect to be treat and they want to see you back again and again !Of course some glitches can happen here and then (just like in real life,remember?) that nobody's have control over like shipping delay or computer problem or item lost ect but it is rare and dealed with fairly.

Now,about the others (grin,grin...). Yes their are some sellers (as well as buyers by the way) on EBAY that cant be trust and that shoudnt be here at all and EBAY takes cares of those problem when they happen but still you can have some bad experiences with them like ;

paying an item and never receive it or receive it after 2 months because the seller didnt owned it when he sold it.

not receive the item you bought or not in the condition you expect it to be .A seller may say in his auction page that a cards is mint/near mint never been played with and the card you receive doesnt look that way at all .Another exemple is the seller that put the picture of an ultra rare card in his auction page but sells something different or the seller that sells random lot which mean you bid on something you are not sure about exactly.

Be served in a way you never would accept in normal life. Some seller will treat you like S*** and expect you to leave them a 5 star rating??? Be your own judge .

Whatever the problem you have with a seller on EBAY never hesitate to write to the seller directly and / or to an EBAY representative about the problem you have .Just make sure to do it before it is to late.A problem should always be settle within the month of the purchase!

Now ,about chaotic cards seller . As i said in a previous guide you can meet proffessional seller here or individuals . The first thing you should do before buying from a seller is to go read is feedbacks he have received in the last year and check if customers are always happy or often not happy ect... this will be your first good indicator.If a seller have a rating of 1000 100% this should be a good indicator because no customer out of 1000 have left a bad feedback but if the seller have a rating that look that way 100 98% this mean that 2 out of 100 customers left him a bad feedback and if it look that way 10 99% this mean that 1 out of ten and most probably 10 out of 100 and 100 out of 1000 left him or would leave him a bad feedback so i let you guess what you should do...

 Sometimes some seller end up having extremly bad feedbacks because they did hmmm lets say BAD things and they will shut down a name to start a new one with no bad feedbacks in it (believe me i got screwed by a few myself) so dont ever  go buy expensive items from a seller with no ratings unless you dont mind the risk!!! After you checks the feedbacks then you can start by buying some non expensive items from your seller to TRY him and see how things goes then if you are satisfy you may go to more expensive items but always keep your eyes open.

Whoever you chose to buy your cards from try to built a nice relationship with him because you have to buy more cards from him in the futur and as customer like nice seller it goes both way and this may sometimes end up in your favor when it is time to settle a little problem or when an item you are looking for and the seller knows you and knows you are looking for it .

Thanks for reading this . I hope it was helpfull in any ways. Now go vote for me! ;O)

If you have questions don't hesitate to ask me i am always somewhere around on EBAY. ;O)
