  1. De-rig sail
  2. Lay sail on a clean flat surface
  3. line up edges of tear
  4. Clenase tear with clean water
  5. Cleanse area with denatured alcohol
  6. Cut tape to at least 4 inches bordering tear
  7. Apply tape
  8. Smoothe air bubbles out
  9. Turn it over and repeat steps 1-8
