First I like to thank the first 2 that voted for my guide as helpful. As i said I would place more and here is another very neat trick.

First get a glass that is about 9 inches. It doesn't to be exactly 9, but preferred. Now get a clear or almost clear straw, one that is good enougth to see the drink go up when drinking. Then fill the cup up with a dark drink like cranberry juice or Hawaiian fruit punch. Just dark enought to cover straw when the bottom part of the straw is in the cup. (soda is possible to work with but not 100% success) OK your ready to do the trick now. While your friends are not looking drink from the straw until it is to the top of the straw. Then place tough on top of straw making sure it is sealed and take out straw from cup, while doing this the juice should hold still in straw. Now drink just around half of the straw and with place tongue back at top of straw place it back in the cup till it hits the bottom and then let the tongue go. If the air below the straw is right it should hold the drink on top of the straw and it will look like some one is drinking it.

Usually when drinking from a straw and when stop the juice will go back to level, but with the air below the straw when doing the trick it will stay above and hold the drink.

You dont have to have a full cup of juice you can use less, but you must compensate with more air. You can't go too low otherwise air will show from straw.

I hope this helps in any way or adds to your knowledge. Vote below and let me know if this was helpful so I may place more and more interesting facts.
