The nice thing about stir fry is its extremely simple to make, but when made well, tastes like a unique cultural dish. There are many ways to vary this recipe but here is a simple plan that comes out great. Buy a pound of boneless chicken breast (or pork or beef if you so choose), carrots, green and red pepper, an onion, and some mushrooms. You'll also need some minced garlic and vegetable oil. Also you need some sort of marinade for the sauce. There are several brands of teriyaki sauce, as well as other ginger or soy sauces that can be tried.
Cut up all ingredients into small pieces, kept seperate for seperate cooking times.
Heat garlic and oil before adding chicken. Add a bit of teriyaki sauce to start flavoring chicken
When chicken is starting to cook through add carrots and by the time it is half cooked you will want to start adding the peppers as well because they take the longest out of the vegetables to cook.
Add more sauce, don't be afraid to apply liberally.
Once vegetables are softened and chicken is cooked through the consistency should be that of thick stew.
Allow to cool, tastes really good over rice.
Easy meal, tastes great over rice.
