HOW TO MAKE POTPOURRI CANDLE JARS
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
1. JARS WITH LIDS
2. 2 CUPS DISTILLED WATER
3. 4 PACKAGES OF PLAIN GELATIN
4. 50 DROPS ESSENTIAL OIL ( ANY KIND)
5. FOOD COLORING ( COLOR OF CHOICE) I MATCH WITH SCENT IE. APPLE =RED
WHAT YOU DO:
1. HEAT ONE CUP OF THE DISTILLED WATER IN A SAUCEPAN. ADD THE FOOD COLORING , REMOVE FROM HEAT, ADD REMAINING CUP 1 CUP OF DISTILLED WATER AND THE GELATIN STIRRING TO SISSOLVE.
2. DIVIDE THE DROPS OF ESSENTIAL OIL OR POTPOURRI OIL, INTO THE JARS ( WIDE MOUTH JELLY JARS OR CANNING JARS WORK BEST.) ADD THE GELATIN MIXTURE TO THE JARS. PLACE THE JARS IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS.
3. REMOVE THE JARS FROM FRIDGE AND COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP OR THE JARS LID. IF YOU ARE CHOOSING PLASTIC WRAP CHOOSE ONE OF THE COLORED WRAPS TO MAKE IT PRETTIER. STORE THEM AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. TO RELEASE THE SCENT , REMOVE THE LID OR PLASTIC WRAP.
