Listing a Children's Clothing Lot is NOT complicated at all however it does take preparation & some work. This guide is meant to show you the steps you need to take in order to list a clothing lot successfully! This guide applies to any sex or size clothing.
FIRST-PREPARATION:
You will need to gather all of your clothing articles together & sort through them checking the sizes to make sure they are all the same size or if in certain caes you may mix 2 close sizes (ex: 4t + 5t clothes in 1 lot).
SECOND-TAKING PICTURES:
You will need to fold take individual pictures of each piece or "outfit" combined for 1 single picture. Now, once you have taken all the individual pictures & folded the items nicely place them all together for a "lot" picture to use as the gallery picture.
THIRD-UPLOADING PICTURES:
Upload your pictures to your computer. If you use an image host upload all the pictures there to use inside the listing. If you use eBays own picture service upload from your pictures in your computer as usual.
FOURTH-CREATING THE LISTING:
Create your listing as you normally would:
- use ALL 55 SPACES ALLOWED to add keywords needed to list any clothes lot in the title(for a 45 piece lot of girls fall clothes-ex: 4T GIRLS CLOTHING LOT FALL ITEMS GAP CHILDRENS PLACE+
- ALWAYS USE A GALLERY PICTURE (this is the BEST advice i can give you besides proper keywords)
- when it comes to listing description make sure you add all the details about the clothes (were they your child's from last years same season? are they used but still in excellent condition? are they gently used? are they used? are they new? are they all the same size? what sizes? etc???
- YOU HAVE TO ADD ALOT OF PICTURES to properly list any clothes lot (what i do is add the group picture, than all the individual pictures than add the group picture at the bottom again-usually anywhere from 10-20 pictures per clothes lot including close ups)
- adding all the right details & all those pictures should eliminate potential buyers having to message you with questions; add everything easily for everyone to see although you should clearly state that if anyone has any questions they should message you.
FIFTH-PRICING:
It is my recommendation before listing a clothes lot to search eBay to see what a similiar auction is selling for. I myself always start clothes lots at 99 cents or 9.99 but list prices to your liking-i do tell you this... NEVER LIST AT A STARTING PRICE LESS THAN YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO ACCEPT but this is not usually a factor-children's clothing lots are in the top 10 on eBay's biggest sellers.
SIXTH-SHIPPING:
I highly recommend that you use "calculated" shipping for all of your clothes lot auctions. be sure to weigh the lot & when adding in the weight add 2 pounds for the box & packaging so you do not get stuck paying shipping charges.
Good Luck to you in your clothes lot listings & if you need any further help please message me-i am always happy to help out my fellow eBayers.
