Let's face it folks! Nothing is more frustrating than washing your car or paying someone to detail your car and a bird poops on it about an hour later when you get it home. Sh*t happens! LOL! If you park your car where a bird has made a home or hangout, they are going to poop on it. I used to think a clean and shiny car gave birds bowel movements. Then I learned a couple of little tricks to keep birds away from certain areas of your property without any harm to the bird.

1.) You can place rubber toy snakes on the ground around the area that you park your car. Make sure they are in plain view. Even if they are colorful snakes, they will work. I have blue, yellow and pink snakes along my driveway. I put them in a place where they are in plain sight for the birds. Birds are obviously afraid of what they think will eat them. This works very effectively if you park under trees or powerlines/wires where birds like to hang out. Perhaps you can find these in a toy store or a novelty gift store.

2.) You can also place a fake plastic owl in the vicinity of where you park your car. I have seen these in the garden dept of better department stores. Real owls will eat other birds. Many birds are afraid of owls.

3.)If you live in a condo with a balcony that has a guard rail, you are likely to have birds pooping on your guard rail. One easy and safe step to take is buying a good quality fishing line and making a "tightwire" about 2 inches above the rail so birds cannot land on the rail. Secure each end of the line against a wall or another rail so it makes a strong "tighwire". This is safe for the bird. And is commonly used at restraunts where I live to keep seagulls out of outdoor dining areas. I see it at local condos where I live as well.

These 3 steps are safe for the bird(s). They will not hurt the birds. And they are very simple and easy steps to take to assure your car or condo never gets pooped on again. They are also very inexpensive.

Please give my review a yes vote before you go if you found it handy or useful.
