Did you all know that ebay has a blog community?  Well for the seasoned veterans who blog every day, and even for the newbie's this guide is for you.  All of your blog entries can be spiced up by adding pictures, graphics and even photos.  This guide breaks it down for you providing quick, easy to follow instructions.

How to insert a picture to your Blog entry:

1. First thing you need to do is set up an account with an image hosting site.  There are many available on the web, I personally like Photobucket.  It is free to set up and very easy to use.

2. Once you have your Photobucket account set up or whichever image hosting site you are using.  You need to make sure that all your pictures, graphics or photos are uploaded to it.  Once uploaded, underneath your pictures you will notice 3 different codes.  The only code you need to worry about is the one labelled HTML tag. Make sure you are still logged into your image hosting site.

3. So you have a picture you want to share with your blog buddies, I have done it numerous times, even shared an ice cream dessert I had once with everyone on the blogs!

You click on "start blogging" and once at your blog you click on "New Entry".  Now normally you just go ahead and start typing.............................. BIG NO NO NO

4. Before you start typing anything you must check the box that says "VIEW SOURCE"  Do not type the title or anything in the main body of the blog until you have checked the view source box.

5. Go ahead and type something and the title then you are going to copy and paste the HTML tag from your image hosting site into your blog entry.  TIPS: if you want your picture centered type <center> at the beginning of the code, what a space between your writing and the picture, type <p> at the beginning of the code.

6. When you are ready to post your entry, make sure that you UNCHECK the view source box, your picture will appear and you can click on post.  And you have done it, added your first picture to your blog!
