How to keep your spa cover from gaining weight or falling apart? Protect the underside and the foam cores of your cover with a floating thermal cover.

This will provide a barrier to the cover from the chemicals in the water. Evaporation of the water will also be reduced, therefore allowing the heat retention of the spa to be increased. That alone helps to reduce heating costs and chemical inbalance.

To further protect your cover, invest in a cover lifter that will protect against dropping the cover when removing or recovering the spa for use.
