Hello, thank you for reading my guide. Below I have included some really positive wedding ideas. I included everything from creating your vows to choosing a place to have the party.
Step 1 - Creating your very important and special wedding vows.
When Creating your wedding vows, think of these questions;
When and where did you first meet?
What was the state of your life before the two of you met?
At what point did you realize you were in love? Describe the feeling.
What inspires you about your loved one?
What life goals and dreams do you share?
What have you learned from each other?
What qualities make your love unique?
What qualities will keep it strong?
How has your view of the world changed since you fell in love?
What do you most look forward to about life with this person?
What are some special moments in your relationship? Use them all, even the sad times as well as the happy, moving, or profound.
What happened the day you asked her to marry you? How did you feel?
When answering these questions, you and your love one will be able to create the perfect vows easily.
Step 2 - When and where to have your Wedding and your afterparty.
Well in my opinion, the best months to have a wedding is in May, June, September, and October. I prefer those months because of the weather. July and Aug. can be too hot, while December and January can be too cold. Another Month I prefer is Febuary because of Valentine's day. After you have picked out the month to have your wedding, you need to find a place to have the event. Here of some questions to go over;
1. Are you or your love one religous? If so what kind. If you and / or your partner is Christian, I prefer to have the wedding in a Church on a Sunday. For the Jewish partners, I prefer having the wedding on a Saturday.
2. How many people will be attending? When picking a place to have your wedding, my advice is make sure you have the extra room for 50 to 75 extra people. For example, if you are planning on having 300 people, get a place that holds a max. of 350 to 375 people. That way you and your guest will have extra room to move around.
Step 3 - Decorations
Now for some weddings people go crazy with decorations. You really do not need to. My advice is place a flower such as a rose on each pew or seat. Have some flowers, balloons, and make sure you have nice romantic music that all your guest will enjoy.
Step 4 - Seating
Make sure that all your guests can see. If you have elderly people attending reserve the front rows for them because you know that they have problems with hearing and vison.
Final Step - The Food
For the food, Make sure that there is enough for everyone. Have many different types of foods. If you and youtr partner's family are different races such as Irish, have some foods from Ireland. For the leftovers, instead of throwing them out, donate them to the less fortunate people. You can donate the leftovers to a homeless shelter in your area. That would make both of you feel good and it will set the mood of the wedding.
I hope this helps. There is so much information that goes into planning a wedding that I just couldn't fit it all in.
