As I am in the midst of planning my second “Ebay Wedding”, this time for my daughter; I thought this would be a good time to write a guide explaining how time-saving, cost-cutting and stress-reducing having an Ebay wedding can be. Not only do you have a million sellers at your fingertips just waiting to assist you in creating the perfect mood for your special day; but also you can decide to include that one special item that you just couldn't budget for, paid for with savings you will reap from purchasing thru Ebay.

So let's get started!

The Wedding Apparel

Looking for the perfect wedding dress? Shop from hundreds of sellers who have gorgeous gowns. Your perfect dress may be brand new, a floor display model or custom made to fit your specifications. Either way you are sure to save a bundle shopping on Ebay. Whether you are looking for a budget gown for under $100 or a designer one-of-a-kind dress for over $1000 or anything in between, you will undoubtedly find a dress fit for "the princess in you" among the 1000s of dresses available at auction or with Buy-It-Now. And speaking of designer dresses ... Ebay has them all. Vera Wang, Amsale, or Monique; just type your dream designer into the search box in the category Wedding Dresses and be amazed by the results.

But not only brides can be dressed to the nines quickly and easily on Ebay. Bridesmaids gowns, dyeable shoes and accessories are all readily available. And while you are in the catagory Bridesmaid Dresses; if you look at the subcategories to the left,  you will see how the gowns are sorted by color. What could be easier than that?

Tips For The Perfect Ebay Wedding

1. Pick 3 colors: 2 main colors and a complementary color and plan your wedding and reception around them. Example: Blue and White with silver or Lavendar and Pink with black.
2. Decide on a theme. It can be traditional, medieval, western or butterflies. Choose a theme that reflects the bride and grooms personalities. Add the keyword of your theme in your search when looking for wedding items on Ebay.
3. USE EBAY TOOLS! Ebay provides wonderful tools to the left of the listings that will help you to narrow your search. An example is the Wedding Dress Finder on this page. I can't stress enough, USE THEM!
4. Limit your search time on Ebay. With millions of choices you can get 'sensory overload'. Pick one item at at time to search for and don't let your self get 'lost' clicking related items.
5. When scrolling thru search results, don't forget to look at the the items listed in Ebay Stores. Often additional Ebay Stores items will be listed below the search results or there will be a link there to click. Many a good deal lies hidden away on a virtual store shelf.
6. As you are searching, save your favorites to 'watch this item'. Later go back and search again using key words from the titles of items you have saved. You may find a better deal on the same item.
7. Lastly, relax and enjoy yourself. A wedding should be a celebration, not a burdensome task. By planning an Ebay wedding, you allow yourself to dream and make that dream a reality.
