When sales are low we all start cleaning up and clearing out our stores. We also put up lots of new listings. Try these few simple tricks to improve your results!
1. Go thru every listing and make sure you have a gallery photo on it if you do use them. Sometimes lately during relists the gallery doesn't get picked up.
2. Go thru and read every listing. Did you go out of your way to describe this product? Can the customer see it? Make sure your pictures are brightly lit and on a white background.
3. Check for spelling errors everywhere. We all do it, get out the book and check them if you don't know or put it on a spell check.
4. Pricing is key. Make sure you are charging a fair and reasonable price and that your shipping is reasonable.
5. Get rid of jumping, flashing, music playing, bubble blowing templates. 60% of the people in America are on dial up and you can't download that stuff on dial up. Leave it out.
6. Utilize your markdown manager tool to put a sale up in your store on all of the items you want to clear out.
7. Send a flyer which you can create on ebay to all of your customers in the last 90 days and put one in every shipment.
8. Make sure you are uploading to google base!
9. Now have fun and watch the money roll in!
