I've lost pieces to toys, pieces to baby cribs, pieces to bread machines. And many other "pieces". And I've thrown out toys and other items not realizing there is a very inexpensive way to replace the pieces that were lost or misplaced. I recently discovered that almost every company allows you to order replacement parts or sometimes will even send them free of charge if you just contact the company. There are three ways to do this, the first two I find to be most effective.

1. Find the company's website. Look for a customer service link or a link to order parts and accessories.
   
2. Find the company's customer service phone number.
   
3. Find the company's address and write them about ordering replacement parts.

So far I've found that Fisher Price and Graco are very easy to order from and ship pretty quickly. I recently bought a highchair from a yard sale for $10 dollars. It was the Fisher Price Link a doos Healthy Care Deluxe Plus High Chair and I loved it! But, I realized that it was missing the  two toy connectors and the storage baskets for the sides. Also, it only came with one dishwasher tray. I went and ordered from the Fisher-Price site, all of these pieces (two toys, two more trays, and one storage basket) and it only cost 16.98 with shipping!

My point being, even if I had bought this highchair for resale instead of personal use, it would be well worth my time and money to order these "extras".

To find replacement items for Fisher Price or Mattel items:

1. Go to fisher-price.com
2. On the left hand side of the screen, find the link, Services and Info. When you run your mouse over that, it should open a box on the screen with more links. Find the Customer Service link and click it.
3. This takes you to the Mattel service center. You can search for items to find instruction manuals you can print out or you can order replacement parts from here.  There is also help links to help you with new toys!

To find replacement parts or accessories for Graco items:

1. Go to Gracobaby.com
2. On the left hand side of the screen, find the Replacement Parts link and click it.
3. You can search from there two different ways, the first is by browsing and the second is by Model number.
