The two printings, done by British American Bank Note (BABN) and by Canadian Bank Note (CBN), can be distinguished easily without having an inscription plate block.

First look at the tagging:

The BABN tagging at left is invisible while the CBN tagging at right is easily visible at naked eye.

Then look in the eyes:

The eyes are more darker on the top BABN printing while the CBN printing (at bottom) has fewer lines, specially on the right eye.
