When you are listing a video game for sale on ebay, you should consider several things...
1) You don't have to pay extra money to make your listing stand out. While a gallery photo is preferred, compare these two listings. Which stands out?...
"Mario Kart for N64"...or..."Mario Kart for N64 TESTED! NO reserve! RARE!"
2) Always try to answer potential buyer's questions before they have to ask them. What condition is the game in? Put it in your listing. How much is shipping? Put it in your listing.
3) Use the listing option that automatically fills in some info about your game. It provides info that you yourself may not know (release date, manufacturer) and makes your listing look more professional.
4) Make sure your picture(s) clearly shows the game.
5) If you are sure that your game will sell for a high price with lots of bids, try listing it for a penny. That way, more potential buyers will see your item and click to watch it. If your game is popular, this shouldn't affect your final selling price.
Using these tips, you should be able to attract more bidders, save time from answering buyer's questions, and end up selling your game for more than you would have originally. Good luck!!!
