How can I clean my Coach product?
We make our products with various types of fabrics and leathers. The smooth leather can be cleaned with our Coach Cleaner and Moisturizer Set. The signature jacquard fabric can be cleaned with our Coach Signature Fabric Cleaner. We do not suggest the cleaners or moisturizer be used on ink, grease or oil stains. We offer a brush and eraser to clean our Nubuc products.

Sig C Fabric Cleaner:
Directions:
Apply a small amount of cleaner to a clean soft white cloth and rub in gentle circular motions. Wipe away excess with a clean white dampened cloth. Blot dry with a clean white cloth and allow to air dry completely before reuse. For best results, use product sparingly and blot dry completely after cleaning to minimize wetting the surface and to reduce the likelihood of leaving rings. The Sig C Fabric Cleaner can be used for the following collections, which are crafted in signature jacquard fabric that has been specially treated to be water and stain repellant:

Leather Cleaner:
Directions:
To remove dirt, apply a small amount with a clean, soft cloth using circular strokes. Wipe off residue and let dry for 30 minutes. We recommend using Coach Leather Moisturizer after cleaning to enhance the luster. To be used on the following collections:

Leather Moisturizer:
Directions:
To remove dirt and condition after cleaning, apply evenly with a clean, soft cloth using circular strokes. Wipe off residue and buff gently to produce a natural luster. We recommend using Coach Leather Cleaner before moisturizing. To be used on the following collections:

(*Ink marks or grease stains should be left untreated-most will eventually blend into the darker leathers. Scratches or scuffs can be removed simply by rubbing them with your fingertips until the natural oils in your hand cause the marks to disappear.)
Boarskin
(*Boarskin can be kept clean with a dry, soft cloth.)
Corsica Canvas

The following leathers can be wiped clean with a dry cloth. To maintain suppleness and a clear complexion of the leather, use a wax based polish, mink oil or bees wax. If applying shoe cream, apply to leather using circular strokes:
Calfskin
Nappa
Babycalf
Waxy Leather
Natural Grain
Spazzalato
High Polish Calf
(*use small amounts of Meltonian Wax, if necessary)
Burnished pull-up Calf
Metallic Leather/Calf
(*To add luster, lightly apply shoe cream with a soft cloth and gently brush leather surface. Excessive rubbing or polishing will damage metallic surface. Metallic leathers are volatile to scuffs and abrasion during wear.)
Buffalo and Vachetta
(*Any application of cream or polish will change leather color. These leathers are naturally tanned so the color may darken from daily wear and exposure)

The following fabrications can also be treated with a damp cloth:

Brush gently with a soft suede brush to remove stains or marks. For stubborn stains, use a suede eraser first, then brush gently with a suede brush. These directions are applicable for the following fabrications:
Nubuc
Suede
Kid Suede

Although the following Coach collections are treated to be water and stain repellant, mild soap and water can be used on the following fabrications:
Quilted Signature C
Webbing

A soft bristle brush can be used on the following. Treat with Scotchguard if weather-proofing is desired:

(*On a side note, there are many consumers who post messages at a Purse Forum who have suggested using Apple cleaner, that is sold at Burlington Coat Factory, on your leather- including the leather where the Coach care card says don't use anything. I haven't done this myself as of yet, but thought I would add the information for those who are willing to risk it and try it. I am going to look into it.
