When should you buy used Cd's?
You might think it's a strange heading? Not really, since there are so many both used and new CD's right in front of you here on Ebay.
* An artist such as Ani Difranco may only sell some of her Cd's in her own webstore. If you are a big fan of artist who does that you might not be a store member for different reasons, and you might have to buy it used, since mainly fans buy specal CD's like that.
*It is "green( Meaning it is going to be used instead of thrown away.) Going green is a new fashion word these days. And many artist managers ask fans to sign up for a newsletter by email instead of snail mail
* If you live far away from a big city and loves an unknown artist buying it used here is your option
Things to remember
- Do not overpay: This is an easy thing to do because sometimes you really want that rare CD which no store has in stock. Do your research: if getting it used is your only option try to figure out how much it is worth for YOU as a person?
- Read the item description: Which condition is the CD in? Does it come with everything that was originally included? Is there any close-up pics by the disc, showing both sides? Remember that if it says for example:" Has some scratches but will play". Think 3 times BEFORE you buy. Because if it does not work and the item description says that it has some scratches it is harder to file a complaint and win, because the seller DID say it was not in good condition. Also look at the price, if you get a new one for the same price here on eBay you loose cash, because you don't always can re-sell it. If the item description is un-clear ASK before you BUY. This helps avoid disappointments on both parts.
