Pre-1960 is generally the best for individual resale, though it does vary from title to title.

• Make sure to type in the whole date when listing the item, many people buy magazines for the exact date of birthdays and anniversaries.
• The more information, the higher the chance of selling: Go through the table of contents and list a few articles and even the journalist's names. List a few ads. This increases the chance of two people wanting one magazine for different reasons

Buying to resell Advertisements:

Many people buy the advertisements only and frame them.

• When cutting the ad, cut oversized. This allows your buyers to then trim it down the size they want for framing.
• Fortune and Saturday Evening Post magazines have a very healthy amount of ads.
