How does someone become a paranormal investigator?
Paranormal investigator: A person who searches for evidence of paranormal occurrences and presents that evidence to the public. They must offer all their services for free.
First, you should study paranormal occurrences by reading books, watching documentaries on television and talking to other people with paranormal experiences. Getting to know the facts is the first step.
After that, you might want to start visiting supposedly haunted places and get to know the people who work at them and are always around them. Get used to being around places with ghosts and spirits.
Once you feel that you are aware of the other paranormal-interested people around you and feel comfortable around spirits and ghosts and know all the facts, you should start to investigate places of your own. Start small, like buy a digital camera and visit a cemetery at night and take a lot of pictures and see if they contain possible paranormal evidence. Then you might want to buy more high-tech tools, like an EMF detector to pick up high EMF readings usually created by a spirit manifesting and a digital voice recorder to pick up the sounds and voices of ghosts and spirits. Other paranormal investigating tools are on the market and you can purchase them to if you feel they will help you.
Once you do that a few times, you will be able to call yourself a paranormal investigator.
Some people like to form ghost hunting groups and paranormal investigative teams once they feel they are knowledgeable enough to help others cope with hauntings and poltergeists. This is ok as long as you offer all services for free and never give false information.
Also, be aware that there is no such thing as a certified paranormal investigator. People who call themselves certified say that they are certified to gain more public power. The reason you can't be certified is because there is no person on earth who can certify you. The field of paranormal research is never completely understood and all claims about it are only educated guesses.
I hope that this guide has helped you in many ways and I hope you decide to further educate yourself about the paranormal.
