Do you ever wonder how to put a colored border around your photo's?
In this guide I will show you a simple easy way to do this using Paint Shop Pro 9.
First you need to open the image you wish to use for your project .I will be using this Image of my 2 year old
Shawn Michael
Second you need to go up to the image tab then click it open and go to the heading Add Borders
When you click on the Add Borders tab a box looking like this will come open.
In this box it shows you the size of your image . It also has a color box that you can change . This will be where you will change the color to the desired color you want your border on your photo. You can also use the sliders to change the thickness of the border your adding
In my example below I changed the color to maroon and the pixel size to 15 along all sides.
You only then have to click Ok when your are finished with adding your border.
Make sure you rename your photo so it doesn't copy over the orginal .I like to sometimes go in and add another color border . That is easy to do do as well.
you just need to follow the steps above . Except use your image you have already added a border too. You can play around and make some pretty colored borders that way .
Like the one of Shawn we just did With more colors added. Really makes the photo stand out
Its a easy simple thing to do with just the click or two .In no time you will be addicted to Paint Shop Pro. I'll try next time to show you how to erase a background ..
